  1. How do I get my shows listed?  What does it cost?
  2. Listing your shows is free.  First register your band, then submit your shows using the on-line form.

  3. I submitted my show and it's not showing up.
  4. The database is updated late Monday evening/early Tuesday morning.  If a Monday has not passed since you entered your show, it will be in the next update.  If a Monday has passed, please submit a request to let us know there is a problem.

  5. How come my band doesn't show up on the artist drop-down list of the Search Chicago Concert Listings page?
  6. Only bands that have a show in the database are included in the drop-down list.

  7. I manage a venue.  How can I submit shows?
  8. Please email your showlistings to database@chicagogigs.com or fax to 773-913-0520

  9. I'm in a band and would rather email my shows to you.
  10. Sorry, we only accept emailed and faxed listings from venues because they typically submit a very large number of shows at the same time. 

  11. How do I get my Artist Description in the showlistings changed?
  12. Just submit a request telling us the name of the artist, what you want to change and your password.

  13. My email address changed.  How do I get that updated?
  14. Submit a request .   Tell us your old email address, the new email address and provide your password, so we know it's really you.

  15. I lost my password.  How can I find out what it is?
  16. Submit a request and we will reply with your password.

  17. I don't know which email address I registered.   What do I do?
  18. Submit a request and we'll let you know which email address is registered

  19. How do I get a link to my website in the showlistings?
  20. ChicagoGigs.com provides website links for member artists (artists that purchase hosting services or an artist page).  Please see the Artist Introduction for information on our services and how to become a member.

  21. How do I get my band listed in the Band Directory?
  22. ChicagoGigs.com lists in the Band Directory member artists (artists that purchase hosting services or an artist page). Please see the Artist Introduction for information on our services and how to become a member.

  23. How do I get my songs in the Top 5 Windows Media and MP3 Downloads lists?
  24. Only member artists are included in these rankings. Please see the Artist Introduction for information on our services and how to become a member.

  25. What's the difference between a registered artist and a member artist?
  26. A registered artist has registered for the free showlisting service.  A member artist has purchased hosting services or an artist page and is eligible for additional benefits, including promotion on the website and discounts.

  27. Can I request a review?  Do I have to be a member of ChicagoGigs.com?
  28. Anyone can request a review - you don't need to be a member or a registered artist.   We review both live shows and CDs available for sale to the public.

  29. I requested a review and it has not been done yet.   How long does it take?
  30. We have received an enormous number of requests and are doing reviews as quickly as possible.  Priority is given to member artists.   Please see the Artist Introduction for information on our services and how to become a member.
